The two Abby’s (Abby W & Abby M) of Thunderbird Sports Camp & TMSI Sports Management reunited today while shopping for the Stittsville Food Bank! We love supporting this outstanding organization every holiday season.
Now more than ever it is important we #SupportLocal! In lieu of our opening weekend, Thunderbird Golf Club has purchased the next TWO Fridays worth of morning coffees at Honey Coffee Bar! Located on Stittsville main street, this fun, delicious and welcoming coffee bar has been an exciting addition to many daily routines. Depending on your order number of the day, your coffee just may be on us! Thank you to Honey Coffee Bar for being a special light in our community of Stittsville. If you have yet to try @honeycoffeebar out, you should probably make them apart of your weekend plans. #SupportLocal #GolfCommunity #InThisTogether
Thank you to Stella & the Reichheld family for once again treating all of our campers to an ICED COLD SNOW CONE from @konaiceottawa this afternoon! Thank you to Stella and her amazing, generous family for the surprise treat and to the Kona Ice Team for their wonderful service as always!
Thunderbird Sports Camp is proud to sponsor the Stittsville Parade of Lights Elf Café Cookie Supply!
Thunderbird Sports Centre is very excited to be sponsoring the "Kids Zone" at Northern Off Road Girls 3rd Annual Charity Ice Fishing Derby in Constance Bay on February 10th! This event, organized by the Northern Off Road Girls Fund, aims to bring the community together for a great cause. All funds raised during the derby will go towards supporting Trips for Kids Ottawa, a charity dedicated to providing outdoor experiences and cycling adventures for underprivileged youth in our community. Your participation will directly impact the lives of these kids, offering them opportunities for growth, resilience, and lasting memories. Consider participating in this fun event, simply sharing the page or making a donation for Trips for Kids Ottawa!
Cambodia embodies a nation of survivors who are full of hope, optimism and resilience. Our Director of TMSI Camps, Abby, recently spent time in Siem Reap of Cambodia and was inspired by the compassionate, welcoming hospitality she experienced from the local communities. After visiting the New Hope Cambodia training facility for youth, there was a burning desire to give something back to this incredible country. New Hope Cambodia provides free education, free health care and community and crisis care support for pre-school aged children and youth who come from families living in Mondul Bei Village, Siem Reap of Cambodia.
Thunderbird Sports Camp is now an official sponsor of a pre-school child enrolled with New Hope Cambodia. We are excited to have the opportunity share updates of our sponsored student with our own campers back in Ottawa, Canada for the coming sports camp seasons and have hope that more consider supporting programs within countries in need of support such as New Hope for Cambodia.
